Mandatory for phone-based certification tracks

Live American Communication Certification (LACC)

The final certification layer for roles that require live phone communication, client interaction, sales, intake, or support calls.

For all certification tracks that require live phone communication, client interaction, sales, intake, or support calls, ACB requires an additional Live American Communication Certification (LACC).

This is a mandatory final certification layer for phone-based roles — completed after all lesson and module certification gates are passed.

The candidate must complete a live conversation assessment with an ACB-approved American evaluator.

Live Communication Standards

Pronunciation clarityWords are intelligible to American listeners
Listening comprehensionUnderstands questions and instructions in real time
Real-time response abilityResponds naturally without excessive delay
Professional toneAppropriate for business and client-facing work
Accent intelligibilityAccent does not block understanding
Confidence under live conversationComposed and clear under pressure

The purpose is simple: to ensure that a real American professional can clearly understand, communicate with, and work effectively with the candidate in live business environments.

This certification carries a separate $10 live verification fee, collected through Zeffy, to cover evaluator time and quality assurance. After you finish all lesson and module gates, your student dashboard guides you through Zeffy payment and live session scheduling. See how fees are used.

Candidates who do not meet the communication standard for that role cannot be certified for phone-based positions until they pass.
